Tolkan Campground, Coast Ranges, California

  There are so many cool things near Tolkan Campground, and when you're here you're always having a great time. This section of California has a great deal of outdoors activities offered. Some people choose this campground to be near Sinkyone Wilderness State Park.
Interesting geology is available here; Kaluna Cliff is close to Tolkan Campground, and nearby you stumble on the King Crest Trail which is a fine hiking trail.
Now, you may feel that's a lot but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Tolkan Campground. Horse Mountain Creek is a
    nice local stream; you can run the rapids of Eel River. Humboldt Redwoods State Park is both splendid and delightful, and it's near Tolkan Campground, and get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Mattole River. This campground is a lovely location to visit. The Lightning
Trail is a wonderful hiking trail close to Tolkan Campground, and you'll perhaps meet some folks from Whitethorn here.
Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the exciting stuff you can do is whitewater paddling, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Tolkan Campground sees pretty high levels of rain; December is when you get the most rain here; July meanwhile is the driest month.
At Tolkan Campground all through the summertime highs are in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During
 
the winter highs are in the 50's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Tolkan Campground drop into the 30's. All the outdoors entertaining things in the Coast Ranges will keep you coming back many times. Van Duzen River is a brilliant whitewater spot close to Tolkan Campground. Tolkan Campground is a campground pretty often visited by the people in Whitethorn.
The perfect variety of local attractions and such a great deal of things to do are sure to keep you coming back time and again. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Coast Ranges. Sinkyone Wilderness State Park is a great spot to stop at on a beautiful day, and Horse Mountain is simple to spot from Tolkan Campground. It's been too long since you went outside, and Tolkan Campground in California is just the place.
Tolkan Campground is a pleasant camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Coast Ranges.
