Good hiking is available along the San Clemente Trail; if you come at the right time of year, Big Sur River offers some fine whitewater. Hit the beach if you want, Pfeiffer Beach is practically right here, and there are magnificent places to explore along the Manuel Peak Trail. This is such a fun spot for a campground. Here at Tin House Campground     you'll probably meet some people from Carmel; don't leave Tin House Campground without first going for a hike along the Buzzards Roost Trail. A visit to Andrew Molera State Park when you're here at Tin House Campground is a perfect idea, and Wreck Beach is rather nearby if you're in a beach type of mood. This camp ground is situated in the picturesque Santa Lucia Range. And that's not all the things to do here in the Santa Lucia Range. Doolans Hole Creek is near Tin House Campground and is always a delight to stop by, and a splendid spot like Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park is too nice to leave out. There's loads of outdoors recreation available close by such as swimming, hiking, whitewater paddling, and fishing, so there's no way to get bored. This campground is a picturesque spot to check out. There's whitewater on Carmel   River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Tin House Campground; Rattlesnake Creek Trail is a glorious local trail. Throughout the summer months here at Tin House Campground, high temperatures mostly reach the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 40's overnight here at Tin House Campground. If you are in California through camping season, you have to go camping.
