Why not check out nearby Murphy Creek while you're here at Tenaya Lake Campground, and don't leave Tenaya Lake Campground without first going for a hike along the Ten Lakes Trail. This campground is so scenic. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Yosemite Creek, and there are splendid places to discover along the Half Dome Trail. Throughout the warm days of summer, highs mostly are in the 80's at Tenaya Lake Campground. When the   night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows at Tenaya Lake Campground through the wintertime regularly fall into the 20's. California has loads of outdoors activities. Tenaya Lake Campground is one of the sites to camp here in the Central Sierra Nevada. The yearly rainfall here at Tenaya Lake Campground is about average; the wettest month of the year is commonly January, that's the one that rains the most; July is the month with the least moisture.
