Telephone Campground, Klamath Mountains, California   Take a hike on the Ides Cove National Recreation Trail, and a nice place like Snow Basin here at Telephone Campground is too glorious to miss. Telephone Campground is right by the French Trail, and get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Black Butte River. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun things the area in the neighborhood of Telephone Campground has to offer. In the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Thomes Creek, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Smoke Howe Trail. Lots of folks camp here to be in the neighborhood of Mendocino National Forest. All the good local attractions in close proximity and the good variety of outdoors recreation are great causes to come. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Klamath Mountains. The Buttermilk Trail offers hiking at its best; Mendocino National Forest is worth visiting.
