China Camp, Santa Lucia Range, California Custom Search   Quite a lot of cool things to do close to China Camp, and to be here is always fun. This campground is so beautiful. The view of Black Butte from China Camp is charming, and a trip to Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park is a glorious idea. China Camp is a site with many visitors from Salinas; going for a hike on the Marble Peak Trail is always a tremendous adventure. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing things the area next to China Camp has to offer. In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling     on Arroyo Seco River, and pleasant hiking is available along the Miller Canyon Trail. China Camp gets very little precipitation; the month with most of the rain is January; the driest month is July. China Camp is a great camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Santa Lucia Range. Just can't get enough of the Santa Lucia Range. Not far from China Camp, you'll discover The Lakes which is a pretty lake; close by you come across the Hot Springs Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. This is in fact a good campground. There is a good hiking trail near China Camp called the Horse Pasture Trail. Arroyo Seco River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by, and you can go for a hike on the Church Creek Trail. Among the things you can do close to China Camp are hiking, fishing, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so you   won’t get bored. This segment of California is always a pleasure to check out through camping season. Finally, camping time is here again, and China Camp in California is precisely the place. And if that's not enough there's plenty more exciting stuff to do in the Santa Lucia Range. Paddling on Carmel River is so much fun, and visiting Limekiln State Park is a fine thing to do. High temperatures at China Camp all through the summer are in the 70's, and the nighttime is a little colder of course, mostly in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at China Camp are in the 40's. Loads of people stay here to be in the vicinity of Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park. Such a perfect pick of attractions and such a perfect variety of outdoors recreation are glorious incentives to come.
