This camp ground is one of the great locations to camp here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Get your pulse rate up on the perfect whitewater of Yuba River - South Fork, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Tevis Cup Trail. Talbot Campground gets much water; most of the rain falls through January; July is the month with the least moisture. Tahoe National Forest is worth going to if you're at Talbot Campground, and what would winter be without some skiing at Sugar Bowl. A visit to California is not complete without some camping.
