All year is a glorious time in the Northern Sierra Nevada if you fancy the outdoors. Hiking along the   Sugar Pine Point Trail is tremendous fun; everybody close by loves skiing at Royal Gorge. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things at Tadpole Campground. Tadpole Campground is right by the Big Granite Trail, and paddling on American River - North Fork is so much fun. Some activities here at Tadpole Campground are hiking, and whitewater paddling, so there's absolutely no way to get bored. Throughout the summer months highs here at Tadpole Campground get into the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
