Surfwood Campground is an old favorite with residents of Fort Bragg.

paddling on Tenmile Creek. Not far from Surfwood Campground, you'll discover Lake Cleone which is a picturesque lake, and Caspar Headlands State Beach is a fine spot to go. Surfwood Campground is situated in the Coast Ranges.

Surfwood Campground is a rather wet place commonly with much precipitation; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is the month with the least moisture.

at Surfwood Campground there are plenty of people from Fort Bragg, and if you're here, do take a tour to Laguna Point. Summer at Surfwood Campground comes with high temperatures in the 60's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. The
wintertime comes with highs in the 50's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Surfwood Campground tend to be in the 40's.
If only every site had this much outdoors fun things, what a great world it would be. Nothing beats kicking back at Laguna Point Beach, and a wonderful
site for whitewater paddling is Noyo River. Having a wonderful time in the Coast Ranges is easy. Take a side journey to Mill Creek.
