| slopes at Sierra Summit nearby. For the period of the warm days of summer at Sunset Campground highs are frequently in the 90's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are generally in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Sunset Campground throughout the winter usually sink into the 30's. This is a great campground. Fox Flat is a good location, and you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Don Cecil Trail. fishing, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. This camp ground is to be found in the picturesque Southern Sierra Nevada. If you come at the right time of year, Mill Flat Creek offers some tremendous whitewater; hiking along the Sheep Creek
