Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more exciting things to do here   in the Southern Sierra Nevada. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Sierra Summit if you're here; Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park is a very brilliant place to visit. This is such a pretty campground. In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kaweah River - North Fork; Sunset Campground is right by the Don Cecil Trail. The good selection of local attractions, and such an incredible array of things to do are delightful incentives to come. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Sunset Campground. A great place to visit close to Sunset Campground is Happy Gap, and a wooded area close by is General Grant Grove. Outdoors recreation is abundant, some of the enjoyable stuff you can do is swimming, hiking, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t run out of things to do. Many people opt for Sunset Campground for the purpose of being near Sandy Cove Beach. You'll meet a lot of folks from Miramonte here, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Sheep Creek Trail.
