17 feet of yearly beautiful snow blankets the nearby ski mountain Badger Pass in possession of its 540 feet of height difference. 5 different ski lifts serve the 10 slopes at Badger Pass. 100 acres of skiable area is offered at Badger Pass; intermediate or beginner slopes account for 95% while expert and advanced slopes make up 5% of the slopes. There are pleasant slopes for everyone at Badger Pass. A grade IV-V+, 1-mile-long
 
whitewater stretch can be found on close by Big Creek, the Chowchilla Mountain Road to South Fork Merced River sector.
