Really great skiing   awaits you at Badger Pass, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Summit Campground; Hite Cove Trail is a good local trail. The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always pretty. If you're going to Summit Campground from Fish Camp, you won't be the only one, and do visit Laurel Creek if you're here at Summit Campground. This section of California is always a bliss to take a look at through camping season. The magnificent local attractions and such a magnificent variety of outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came. Loads of fun is at this campground. Do pay a visit to Yosemite National Park if you're here at Summit Campground; the El Capitan Trail offers hiking at its best. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Central Sierra Nevada is unbeatable! A great place like Millerton Lake State Park close to Summit Campground is too good to leave out, and get drenched paddling on Big Creek. During the summer months highs here at Summit Campground reach the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Summit Campground plunge into the 20's.
