Hiking is a popular thing to do around Stough Campground; Emerson Creek Trail is a magnificent local trail; the East Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. At Stough Campground you don’t see much precipitation; December is the wettest month with most snow, and the driest month is July. Good hiking is available along the Pine Creek Trail, and Cedar Pass is also a good place to explore. The nice variety of local attractions and such a great deal of things to do will make you happy you came. Stough Campground is one of the places to camp here in the Warner Mountains. There's perfect hiking along the Poison Flat   Trail; stopping by Washoe Lake State Recreation Area is a great thing to do.
