If you are in California throughout camping season, you must go camping. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Piru Creek, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Snowy Creek Trail. Stonehouse Campground is exceptionally popular with the residents of Frazier Park. Hiking along the Upper Sespe River Trail is great fun, and there are some nice whitewater spots on Piru Creek.
