As long as you love the outdoors you will love California. Man, is there plenty of cool things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Good hiking is available along the Glacier Lakes Trail, and in case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Yuba River - South Fork. It's been too long since you went outside, you need to get out; Sterling Lake Campground is a pleasant local campground if you happen to be in California.
This campground is a good site to pop by. Fordyce Creek is a nice whitewater spot next to Sterling Lake Campground; if the weather is delightful, you acquire a splendid vista of Fordyce Summit from Sterling Lake Campground.
Furnace Flat is a splendid place. Sterling Lake Campground is a perfect camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Northern Sierra Nevada. Among the things you can do right next door to Sterling Lake Campground are swimming, whitewater paddling, fishing, and hiking, so running out of cool things to do won’t happen.
