Stampede Campground, Northern Sierra Nevada, California   There is so much amusing stuff to do near Stampede Campground, and when you're here you're always having a magnificent time. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while Stampede Campground overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 20's. California is a magnificent place for outdoors folks. A lot of folks camp here to be in the neighborhood of Donner Memorial State Park. While you're here at Stampede Campground you can take a hike along the Mount Rose Trail, and a great location to take a look at is Worn Mill Canyon. Stampede Campground is extremely popular with the   folks of Truckee. A day on the slopes of Northstar at Tahoe is just what you need. Some activities here at Stampede Campground are whitewater paddling, swimming, fishing, and hiking, so running out of enjoyable stuff to do won’t happen. The Mount Rose Trail is a good hiking trail near Stampede Campground; a great place for whitewater paddling is Truckee River.
