    one of a lot of delightful campgrounds in this area.
Yeah, come up here to the Klamath Mountains for a splendid time. There's wonderful hiking along the Horse Camp Trail; there's whitewater on Salmon River for all you thrill seekers. Spring Flat Campground is to be found in

Spring Flat Campground is a very popular old favorite campground among visitors from Scott Bar. Spring Flat Campground is a wet location that gets much precipitation; December is the month that gets the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture.
This is a splendid campground. If you come at the right time of year, Scott River offers some glorious whitewater, and don't leave without stopping by Klamath National Forest.
 
Good hiking is available along the Tanners Peak Trail, and Bridge Flat is a delightful place here at Spring Flat Campground. For the duration of the warm days of summer highs here at Spring Flat Campground get into the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are typically in the 40's with temperatures at Spring Flat Campground dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. Camping in California is such an enjoyable activity.
All the outdoors cool things in the Klamath Mountains will keep you coming back time and again. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Klamath River; if you're here why not visit Peregrine Gulch. There's more to do in close proximity to Spring Flat Campground other than just hanging out such as hiking, and whitewater paddling, so perhaps you want to stay a bit.
