Splitrock Campground, Northern Sierra Nevada, California   This camp ground is situated in the lovely Northern Sierra Nevada. Donner Memorial State Park is a great location, and do take a hike on the Painted Rock Trail. Splitrock Campground is a campground reasonably often visited by folks of Truckee. You get a wonderful panorama of Jackass Point from Splitrock Campground; you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Warren Lake Trail. Summer brings highs in   the 80's to Splitrock Campground while overnight lows are commonly in the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Splitrock Campground sink into the 10's. There's such a great deal of things to do at Splitrock Campground including playing golf, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so almost certainly you want to stay a while. Now, you may feel that's a load but there's even more exciting things to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Granite Chief Trail, and since you're here you can play some golf at Old Greenwood Golf Course. You need to get out of the house; Splitrock Campground in California is such a great site. Going for a hike along the Big Spring Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and glide down the rapids of Yuba River - South Fork in a kayak. Tahoe Donner is a very popular ski area close by; you're sure to run into some smiling folks from Truckee here. This campground is a perfect location to stop by. Cold Creek is in the neighborhood of Splitrock Campground and is always a delight to check out, and enjoy a round of golf at Tahoe Donner Golf Course. At Splitrock Campground amusing stuff to do is bountiful; a lot of folks are fond of coming here to get away. That right there is heaps already, but it carries on; Splitrock Campground has it all. If the weather is wonderful here at Splitrock Campground, you can go for a hike along the Five Lakes Creek Trail; taking a little trip to close by China Cove is a tremendous idea.
