There's plenty of outdoors recreation available around here such as whitewater paddling, fishing, swimming, and hiking, so you won’t get bored. If you come to this campground, you will have a good time for sure. You're perhaps hooked on lakes, Deer Creek Reservoir is one of those nearby; close by you discover   the Halls Ranch Trail which is a fine hiking trail. While you're here at South Yuba Campground you can take a hike along the South Yuba Trail, and there's whitewater on Yuba River - Middle Fork for all you adrenaline people. South Yuba Campground gets a lot of water; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily January, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is July. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area close to South Yuba Campground has to offer. On a perfect day at South Yuba Campground you can take a hike along the Humbug Trail, and if you're visiting from Nevada City, you won't be the only one. Kenebec Creek flows through this area. Going for a hike on the Bayes Cabin Road is always a good adventure, and while you're here at South Yuba Campground it's a brilliant idea to take a look at Sailor Flat. The glorious selection of local attractions, and so much to do are guaranteed to keep you coming back again and again. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada. There is a tremendous hiking trail close to South Yuba Campground called the Lafayette Ridge Trail, and you can run the rapids of Yuba River - South Fork.
