At this campground you will always have a wonderful time. During your visit to Snedden Campground you'll meet some people from Oxnard-Thousand Oaks-Ventura for sure; nearby you stumble on the Piedra Blanca National Recreation Trail which is a fine hiking trail. Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area is quite close to Snedden Campground, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Cedar Lake Trail. Thorn Point is a peak you can see from Snedden Campground; since you're here you can take a hike along the Reed Reef Trail.
Some activities here at Snedden Campground are whitewater paddling, and hiking, so running out of cool things to do won’t happen. Why not visit close by Cedar Creek since you're here at Snedden Campground, and on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Rose Lion Trail.
Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Sierra Madre is great! The Middle Sespe Trail is a brilliant hiking trail near Snedden Campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Sespe Creek offers some tremendous whitewater. You completely ought to go for
Snedden Campground. A journey to Los Padres National Forest when you're here at Snedden Campground is never a bad idea; a visit to Channel Islands National Park is recommended. Snedden Campground gets very little rain; the month with most of the rain is February, and the driest
of the months is July. Throughout the days of summer highs here at Snedden Campground reach the 90's, and the overnight is a tad cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 60's; overnight lows at Snedden Campground during the winter frequently fall into the 30's.
