Smoky Jack Campground, Central Sierra Nevada, California

  Many folks stay at Smoky Jack Campground in order to be close to Yosemite National Park. What would winter be without some skiing at Badger Pass, and a journey to Stanislaus National Forest is a good idea. So many enjoyable things in the Central Sierra Nevada, just fantastic. There are great locations to explore along the El Capitan Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Yosemite Creek offers some great whitewater. Smoky Jack Campground gets a large amount of water; most of the rain falls throughout January while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. For the period of the summer months at Smoky Jack Campground temperatures are usually in the 80's while night lows are commonly in the 50's. The
 
winter brings highs down to the 40's, and overnight lows during the winter for Smoky Jack Campground tend to be in the 20's.
Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Smoky Jack Campground. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Smoky Jack Campground; Eagle Peak Trail is a glorious local trail; glide down the rapids of Merced River in a kayak. This campground is a delightful place to have a look at. A journey to Echo Canyon State Park when you're here at Smoky Jack Campground is never a bad idea, and don't leave Smoky Jack Campground without first going for a hike along the Pohono Trail. The good variety of local attractions and all the outdoors recreation will make you happy you came.
It's completely out of the question to get bored in California if you have a thing about the outdoors. Ok, it's been too long since you went outside, it's time to go camping, and Smoky Jack Campground in California is a splendid pick.
