You are likely to get soaked kayak paddling this stretch of Trinity River, so you should be prepared for that. Check circumstances in advance of a trip on the whitewater, or else it's not secure. The 4.5-mile-in-length Blake Trail
 
has an elevation variation of 3,420 feet; it is a wonderful hiking trail. If by chance you wish for a tough backcountry walk, Blake Trail calls for in the order of one day to backcountry walk.
