There's a load of outdoors recreation available in the vicinity such as hiking, swimming, whitewater paddling, and fishing, so you won’t get bored.

Sky Campground is located in an area with loads of cool stuff to do; camping is such an enjoyable thing to do, and this is a magnificent location to do that. Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Sky Campground. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Woodward Valley Trail; the panoramas at Point Reyes National Seashore will blow your mind.

Beatty Trail is a delightful local trail, and a day at pretty Santa Maria Beach in the vicinity of Sky Campground is a wonderful thing to do. Summer at Sky Campground comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs
in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Sky Campground.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. If you haven’t been to Muir Woods National Monument, you must schedule some time for it while you're here; stop by close by Olema Marsh. All the water falling
down from the sky makes Sky Campground a wet location; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. A campground like this is too splendid to miss. The peak of Mount Wittenberg can be seen from Sky Campground, and a lake
close by is Wildcat Lake.
A number of folks stay at this campground when going to Sculptured Beach. If you're popping by Sky Campground from Point Reyes Station, you won't be the only one, and a visit here wouldn’t be complete without a tour to close by Samuel P. Taylor State Park.
Have a fine hiking adventure along the Old Pine Trail, and time spent at Sculptured Beach is always good.
