| whitewater paddling, and hiking, so running out of entertaining stuff to do won’t happen. All the good local attractions around here and such a good variety of outdoors recreation will make you happy you came. Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is one of the destinations close to Skunk Point Group Campground that are great to go to, and as expected Bordy Creek is a wonderful stream that is worth going to. If you're here, you might as well go to Wheel Gulch, and if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Trinity River. | |

of Skunk Point Group Campground. Trinity River - North Fork has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby. During the summer months highs here at Skunk Point Group Campground reach the 90's, and the night is slightly chillier of course, frequently in the 50's. Daytime highs during
the winter are in the 40's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Skunk Point Group Campground drop into the 30's.
