Not much rainfall falls here at Skunk Campground; February is the wettest month with most rain, and July is when it's the driest. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Sierra Madre. Carpinteria State Beach is a splendid place to stretch your legs a bit, and perfect hiking is available along the Mission Pine Trail.
