Going for a hike on the Echo Lake Trail is always a fine adventure; lots of folks from Castella come here. The glorious choice of local attractions, and such a glorious variety of outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came. Summertime at Sims Flat Campground arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's typically in the 40's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Sims Flat Campground.

Sims Flat is a great place to stretch your legs a bit, and why not a little side tour to Hazel Creek. Sims Flat Campground is esteemed by the people from Castella. There are some good whitewater spots on Sacramento River, and there is a brilliant hiking trail nearby called the
Castle Lake Trail.
Camping in California is such an enjoyable thing to do. There's absolutely no way to run out of amusing stuff to do in the vicinity of Sims Flat Campground; it's one of those sites where everything is nice.
Sims Flat Campground gets very little precipitation;
the month with most of the rain is December, and July is the month with the least moisture. So much amusing stuff to do here at Sims Flat Campground, too brilliant to be true. A trip to Castle Crags State Park revives the soul; on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the
Crags Trail.
A lot of people camp here for the purpose of being in close proximity to Castle Crags State Park. Some activities here at Sims Flat Campground are hiking, and whitewater paddling, so running out of exciting things to do won’t happen.
