The Route 4 Bridge to Salt Springs Reservoir portion has a span of 24.9 miles; you come upon this section of whitewater on Mokelumne River - North Fork. It's a type V+ section. For skilled whitewater   paddlers this section of Mokelumne River - North Fork is an amusing place to kayak. Whitewater rapids are risky things, so you should check restrictions in advance of a trip.
