Sierra Campground is a very popular campground among the folks from Calpine. A pleasant place like Plumas-Eureka State Park in the neighborhood of Sierra Campground is too perfect to leave out, and paddling on Fordyce Creek is so much fun. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Deadman Lake, |
and the Deer Lake Trail is a brilliant hiking trail nearby. This campground is a pretty location to stop by. Going to Tahoe National Forest in the vicinity of Sierra Campground is a magnificent thing to do, and there are great places to explore along the Butcher Ranch Trail.
| Lots of folks from Calpine come to Sierra Campground. This camp ground is one of the great locations to camp here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Quite a lot of exciting stuff to do in the neighborhood of Sierra Campground; it is a tremendous escape from the mundane. Sierra Campground gets a normal amount of annual rain; January is the month that gets the most rain; July on the other hand is the driest. you can do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Haskell Creek is a great place to check out, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Yuba River - North Fork. Through the summertime months at Sierra Campground temperatures are typically in the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's
typically in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's while Sierra Campground night low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. This is such a fun location for a campground. On a wonderful day at Sierra Campground you can take a hike along the
Haskell Peak Trail, and great skiing awaits you at Royal Gorge. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. The summit of Deadman Peak can be seen from Sierra Campground, and there is a wonderful hiking trail nearby called the Pacific Crest Trail - section 15. Some
folks select Sierra Campground to be in the neighborhood of Plumas-Eureka State Park. You can't spend too much time in the city; you have to get out of the house now and then; Sierra Campground in California is such a tremendous place. Just can't get enough of the Northern
Sierra Nevada. Glide down the rapids of Yuba River - South Fork in a kayak, and going for a hike on the Bowman Mountain Trail is always a perfect adventure.
