Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Shonter Hill Campground. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Shonter Hill Campground.
Shonter Hill Campground is a popular spot with the people of Washington.
Much precipitation falls at Shonter Hill Campground; the month with most of the rain is January, and July is when it's the driest. This campground is always a diversion. Malakoff Diggins State Park is a fine place to stretch your legs a bit, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Halls Ranch Trail.
