Shirley Meadow Campground, Southern Sierra Nevada, California   Shirley Meadow Campground is extremely well liked by folks from Wofford Heights. Be careful coming to the Southern Sierra Nevada, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Kern River; Sequoia National Forest is a delightful place to go. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do right next door to Shirley Meadow Campground. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Shirley Meadow, and do take a hike on the Tobias Creek Trail. The Southern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. A common amount of rain falls here at Shirley Meadow Campground; January is the wettest   month with most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. At Shirley Meadow Campground entertaining stuff to do is plentiful, and it is a very wonderful campground. Throughout the days of summer highs here at Shirley Meadow Campground get into the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 40's, and night lows through the winter for Shirley Meadow Campground tend to be in the 20's. This is such a fun location for a campground. Shirley Peak is clearly visible from Shirley Meadow Campground, and Potato Patch is a pleasant site to check out. Outdoors people generally go for this sector of California. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Kern River, and Shirley Meadow Campground is right by the Old Sled Trail. If you come at the right time of year, Kern River offers some good whitewater, and the Bull Run Cattle Drive offers hiking at its best.
