  There are so many fun things to do in the vicinity of Shelly Creek Campground, and campgrounds like these are tremendous.
This campground is so pleasant. All our national parks are fine locations to go to, and Oregon Caves National Monument is no exception, and why not take a little trip to Shelly Creek while you're here. Shelly Creek Campground is one of the places to camp here in the Coast Ranges. Go for a hike on the French Hill Trail, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Hurdygurdy Creek.
That right there is loads of exciting stuff already
    but it goes on, the Coast Ranges has it all. People from Gasquet love to come to Shelly Creek Campground, and there's perfect hiking along the Chetco Divide Trail. Shelly Creek Campground usually gets much rain; December is the month that gets the most rain while July is the month
with the least amount of precipitation. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Shelly Creek Campground temperatures are commonly in the 60's with overnight lows in the 50's. During the winter highs are usually in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Shelly Creek Campground are in the 40's.
Get drenched paddling on Smith River - North Fork; if you haven’t been to Redwood National and State Parks, you must schedule some time for it if you're here. Scores of people stay at this campground to be near Six Rivers National Forest.

A spree to Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park when you're here at Shelly Creek Campground is a great idea, and don't leave Shelly Creek Campground without first going for a hike along the Paradise Trail. Be careful coming to the Coast Ranges, you might not ever want to go back home again. There are tremendous sites to discover along the Elk Camp Ridge Trail, and Smith River - Middle Fork has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby. This part of California is always a joy to take a look at through camping season.
You need to get out, and Shelly Creek Campground in California is such a tremendous place. Such a wonderful choice of attractions and the wonderful variety of outdoors recreation will make you delighted you came.
This is a pleasant campground. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Shelly Creek Campground; Chetco Peak Trail is a great local trail, and a tremendous place like Six Rivers National Forest is too splendid to leave out. There's more to do near Shelly Creek Campground other than just hanging out such as whitewater paddling, and hiking, so there's no way to get bored.
