Smith River - Middle Fork is a pleasant whitewater spot right next door to Shelly Creek Campground, and you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Chetco Peak Trail. This campground is a gorgeous location to stop at. Take a hike on the Chetco Divide Trail, and there are plenty of people from Gasquet here.
