All through the months of summer at Shafter Campground temperatures are regularly in the 80's; the nighttime is rather colder of course, typically in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Shafter Campground are in the 10's. At Shafter Campground you don’t see much precipitation.
