The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and overnight lows at Shafter Campground during the winter typically dip into the 10's. Shafter Campground is a location that is quite dried out typically; through the month of December you get the   most snow around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. At last, camping season is here again, and Shafter Campground in California is a really fine place to spend some time.
