Naturally facilities are few in a primitive campground such as Scott-Flat Campground. Primitive camping is a good way to be in the neighborhood of the great outdoors, and it is exceptionally beautiful here at this primitive campground. Naturally it could be demanding to get to a primitive campground such as this one, but it's worth the effort.
It's just not possible to run out of entertaining things to do close to Scott-Flat Campground; to be at this campground is magnificent fun any time. The good pick of local

    attractions, and the nearby outdoors recreation are splendid causes to come.
If you adore the outdoors, you won’t be disappointed; there's hiking, whitewater paddling, playing golf, swimming, and fishing, so running out of fun
 stuff to do won’t happen.
A visit to California is not complete without some camping. A lot of folks pick Scott-Flat Campground to take a look at nearby Malakoff Diggins State Park. Scott-Flat Campground is to be found in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
Scott-Flat Campground is a campground rather often visited by folks from Nevada City. A good 4-mile-in-length whitewater run on Yuba River - South Fork is close by. This, the Edwards Crossing to Purdon Crossing sector, is a category IV. When the conditions are right this run of Yuba River - South Fork is an exciting run of river for whitewater kayaking or rafting. Don't go whitewater kayaking or rafting prior to first checking conditions;

it's risky stuff. A gorgeous trail close at hand is Humbug Trail; it's 4 miles from beginning to end and has a variation in elevation of 1,041 feet.
