Alright, time for a camping trip, so what do     you say? Scott-Flat Campground, California is a magnificent place for getting out. This camp ground is one of the pleasant places to camp here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. This is a good campground. If you come at the right time of year, Yuba River - South Fork offers some nice whitewater; you can go for a hike on the Green Valley Trail. All the fine local attractions in close proximity and the nearby outdoors recreation will make you delighted you came. Be careful coming to Scott-Flat Campground, you might not ever want to return back home again. On a splendid day at Scott-Flat Campground you can take a hike along the Humbug Trail, and do explore Scotts Flat Reservoir, it's a charming lake. There's loads of outdoors recreation available in close proximity such as swimming, whitewater paddling, hiking, and fishing, so it's   out of the question to get bored. A campground like this is too good to miss. There is a great hiking trail close to Scott-Flat Campground called the South Yuba Trail; Quaker Hill is simple to spot from Scott-Flat Campground. So many cool things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada, not enough time. Malakoff Diggins State Park is a great place to check out; going for a hike on the Lafayette Ridge Trail is always a brilliant adventure. Scores of people choose this campground to go to nearby Malakoff Diggins State Park. Scott-Flat Campground sees pretty high levels of precipitation; January is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is July. Good hiking is available along the Bayes Cabin Road, and folks from Nevada City love to come here. Scott-Flat Campground is a campground rather frequently visited by people in Nevada City. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Yuba River - Middle Fork, and everybody loves Scotts Flat. During the summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Scott-Flat Campground. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Scott-Flat Campground.
