Soaproot Flat is a delightful spot any time of year, and if the weather is pretty, you get a great view of Barnes Mountain from Sawmill Campground. River Tributary for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Don't leave Sawmill Campground without first checking out Grand Bluff; you can run the rapids of Dinkey Creek. In California you never run out of outdoors entertaining things. Hiking along the Deep Creek Trail is good fun;
unsurprisingly Providence Creek flows through this area. Not much rain falls here at Sawmill Campground; January is the wettest month with most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. For the period of the months of summer here at Sawmill Campground, high temperatures
