All through the winter highs are in the 40's, and night lows through the wintertime for Sandy Campground tend to be in the 10's. So many cool things in the Southern Cascade Range, just astonishing. During your visit to Sandy Campground you'll meet some people from Old Station for sure, and get soaked paddling on Pit River. While you're here at Sandy Campground   you can take a hike along the Chaos Crags Trail, and nearby Plum Valley is a great spot to go. California is a wonderful outdoors state. There's plenty of outdoors recreation available close by such as swimming, fishing, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you won’t run out of things to do.
