Sand Flat Campground, Northern Sierra Nevada, California   Sand Flat Campground is a very well liked campground by the folks from Kyburz. California is a great outdoors state. At last, camping season is here again, and Sand Flat Campground in California is the outdoors at its best. The warmest time of the year at Sand Flat Campground comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 60's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's, and night lows in the 30's for Sand Flat Campground. While you're here at Sand Flat Campground you can take a hike along the Sun Rock Trail, and Eldorado National Forest is a forest that you can go to. All the fine local attractions close by and the fine variety of outdoors recreation will make you delighted you came. You think   that's enough? Just getting warmed up. There is a pleasant hiking trail close to Sand Flat Campground called the Highland Trail, and there are plenty of folks from Kyburz here. This is such a nice campground. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Silver Creek - South Fork; Sugarloaf is scenic and can be distinguished from here. Lots of folks stay here when going to Eldorado National Forest. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff truly is abundant here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Visit Carpenter Creek since you're here at Sand Flat Campground, and Eldorado National Forest is a splendid site to stop at. On a great day at Sand Flat Campground you can take a hike along the Red Peak Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, American River - South Fork offers some great whitewater. This camp ground is to be found in the charming Northern Sierra Nevada. The Poison Hole Trail is a great hiking trail right next door to Sand Flat Campground, and get dripping wet paddling on American River - South Fork.
