Saddlebag Campground, Central Sierra Nevada, California

  This camp ground is one of the wonderful spots to camp here in the Central Sierra Nevada. This is a brilliant campground. Interesting geology is available here; Dore Cliff is close to Saddlebag Campground, and do take a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail - section 12.

    Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Gardisky Lake, and there's whitewater on Tenaya Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers.

You can distinguish Tioga Peak from Saddlebag Campground, and hiking along the John Muir Trail - section 2 is brilliant fun.
