Sure, Spencer Lakes is close to Ross Campground, and Plumas-Eureka State Park is a great site to go to on a lovely day. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Ross Campground; January is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is July. Several folks select this campground for the purpose of being in the vicinity of Plumas-Eureka State Park. So much exciting stuff to do at Ross Campground, so little     time. On a great day at Ross Campground you can take a hike along the Butcher Ranch Trail, and Florentine Canyon is a wonderful place to stop by.
