Rocky Rest Campground, Northern Sierra Nevada, California   If you are in California through camping season, you should go camping. This campground is a great spot to explore. A lot of fun is at this campground. Rocky   Rest Campground is right by the Bayes Cabin Road, and lots of people from Camptonville come here. Malakoff Diggins State Park is both great and wonderful, and it's next to Rocky Rest Campground, and don't leave Rocky Rest Campground without first going for a hike along the Halls Ranch Trail. Humbug Creek is a great place to take a look at; there's good hiking along the South Yuba Trail. A number of people stay at Rocky Rest Campground in order to be next to Malakoff Diggins State Park. So many fun things close to Rocky Rest Campground; it's one of those places where everything is nice. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Yuba River - North Fork; Rocky Rest Campground is in the vicinity of Empire Mine State Park which is a picturesque place.
