Throughout the summer here at Rocky Campground, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. ordinarily the driest month. Lots of people stay here through their spree to Lassen National Forest. Rocky Campground beyond doubt is in the middle of a delightful outdoors paradise. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Rocky Campground; Bunchgrass Trail is a great local
trail, and a visit to Ahjumawi Lava Springs State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. Some of the things you can do here at Rocky Campground are whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you won’t get bored. Rocky Campground is a very popular campground with people of Old Station.
This section of California is always a diversion to visit through camping season. The Southern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful.
