As if Rocky Campground wasn't sufficient, you can also go swimming, fishing, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so running out of entertaining stuff to do won’t happen. Outdoors folks generally have a thing about this segment of California. Coming to this campground is always a great idea. Plum Valley is right next door to Rocky Campground and is a nice spot, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Chaos Crags Trail. |

Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Southern Cascade Range. Ahjumawi Lava Springs State Park is a tremendous place to go if you're at Rocky Campground, and do take a
hike on the Hanna Trail. From a rain point of view Rocky Campground is a relatively normal site; during January this area sees the most snow; July on the other hand is the driest. Rocky Campground is a campground pretty often visited by the people of Old Station. Yep, outdoors
exciting stuff to do are in fact bountiful here at Rocky Campground. If you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pit River, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Growler Trail. Rocky Campground is not the only place nearby,
Plum Valley Reservoir is a nearby lake; hiking is a popular thing to do around Rocky Campground; Bunchgrass Trail is a wonderful local trail. Do pay a visit to Lassen Volcanic National Park if you're here at Rocky Campground, and Mount Shasta has magnificent slopes and a friendly staff. So much amusing stuff in the neighborhood of Rocky Campground, and to be at this campground is glorious fun any time.
