On Canyon Creek you locate the nearby Bridge 8.5 miles upstream of Junction City to Junction City portion. This is a grade III-IV, 8.5-mile-long bit of whitewater. This portion of Canyon Creek is suggested for paddlers of medium familiarity. Whitewater rapids are hazardous occurrences, so you have to check current conditions prior to departure. If you're here at Ripstein Campground, you could stop at Bear Creek; a great spot nearby is Ripstein Gulch. But wait, there's more enjoyable stuff
 
to do in the Klamath Mountains. Everybody loves Lower Canyon Creek Meadows, and as expected, everyone loves Weaverville Joss House State Park.
