Ridge Campground, Northern Sierra Nevada, California   The surroundings of this campground have such a great deal of things to offer. While you're here at Ridge Campground you can play some golf at Ponderosa Golf Course; China Cove is around here and always great to visit. If only every site had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great earth it would be. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Truckee River; whitewater paddling is wonderful on Truckee River. A golf course near Ridge Campground is Old Greenwood Golf Course, and the Painted Rock Trail is a good     hiking trail nearby. So many local attractions and so much to do will make you delighted you came. Ridge Campground is a very well prized campground by the folks from Truckee. Going for a hike on the Big Spring Trail is always a good adventure, and the cheerful folks of Truckee like to hang out close by. Man, is there a heap of fun stuff to do near Ridge Campground. Very beautiful scenery and fine skiing is what you get at Tahoe Donner, and if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Granite Chief Trail. This camp ground is one of the great locations to camp here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Northern Sierra Nevada is great! Paddling on Yuba River - South Fork is so much fun. As if Ridge Campground wasn't enough, you can also go playing golf, hiking,   and whitewater paddling, so you won’t get bored. So many cool things in the neighborhood of Ridge Campground, and what a great spot for camping it is. Jackass Point is clearly visible from Ridge Campground, and while you're here why not explore Coldstream Valley. Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Tahoe National Forest is a nice place to check out, and nearby you come across the Warren Lake Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. You've been indoors for too long, you need to get out of the house, and Ridge Campground in California is such a great spot. And if that's not sufficient there's lots more entertaining stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Visit Cold Creek if you're here at Ridge Campground; there are perfect places to discover along the Five Lakes Creek Trail. This campground is so wonderful. Near Ridge Campground you find a golf course called Tahoe Donner Golf Course; places like Donner Memorial State Park are great to check out. The amount of rain that falls at Ridge Campground is close to the national average; January is the month that gets the most snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Camping in California is such an enjoyable activity. Throughout the long summer days highs here at Ridge Campground reach the 80's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 40's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Ridge Campground dipping down into the 10's through winter nights.
