Warner Creek is a tremendous location to go to, and pleasant hiking is available along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 16. There's nice hiking along the Carter Meadow Trail. Campground is right by the Childs Meadows Trail; if you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Chester. There's no way to run out of exciting things to do near Rice Creek Campground; camping is such an enjoyable activity, and this is a delightful place to do that.
Rice Creek Campground is a very popular old favorite campground among the folks from Chester. Rice Creek Campground is a good spot of common precipitation; the wettest month of the year is mostly November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is July. This is
a great campground. A visit to Lassen Volcanic National Park is recommended, and the Yellow Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. There's more to do in the neighborhood of Rice Creek Campground other than just hanging out such as whitewater paddling, hiking, swimming, and
fishing, so probably you want to stick around for a while. A campground like this is too great to miss. A spree to Sunflower Flat rejuvenates the spirit; you can go for a hike on the Lassen Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Feather River - North Fork, and visiting Lassen National Forest is a fine thing to do.
