Reyes Peak Campground, Sierra Madre, California   This segment of California is always a delight to go to through camping season. Some folks stay here when going to Los Padres National Forest. This campground has it all. The Ortega Trail is a perfect hiking trail right next door to Reyes Peak Campground, and Channel Islands National Park is a very splendid spot to visit. Reyes Peak Campground in California is the outdoors at its finest. Whitewater paddling is magnificent     on Sespe Creek, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Chorro Grande Trail. It is very dry here at Reyes Peak Campground regularly; through the month of February you get the most rain around here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. So many enjoyable things to do here in the Sierra Madre, too brilliant to be true. Man, is there lots of amusing things to do in the Sierra Madre. Near Reyes Peak Campground you hit upon the Piedra Blanca National Recreation Trail which is a great hiking trail, and a good spot like Los Padres National Forest is too delightful to leave out. Reyes Peak Campground is situated in the Sierra Madre. There's more to do right next door to Reyes Peak Campground other than just hanging out such as hiking, and whitewater paddling, so there's no way to get bored. Going for a hike on   the Deal Trail is always a brilliant adventure; if you're stopping by from Oxnard-Thousand Oaks-Ventura, you won't be the only one. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at Reyes Peak Campground. A visit to Carpinteria State Beach when you're here at Reyes Peak Campground is a good idea, and if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the McGuire Trail. At Reyes Peak Campground amusing stuff to do is plentiful, and it's one of those locations where everything is magnificent. During the long summer days, highs commonly are in the 70's at Reyes Peak Campground. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 60's, and overnight lows at Reyes Peak Campground through the wintertime generally sink into the 40's.
