Reyes Campground, Sierra Madre, California   Quite a lot of amusing stuff to do right next door to Reyes Campground, and it is a great escape from the mundane. California is a great outdoors state. Not much rainfall falls here at Reyes Campground; most of the rain falls all through February while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This camp ground is located in the picturesque Sierra Madre. A number of folks camp here during their visit to Los Padres National Forest. That right there is loads of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Sierra Madre has it all.     There's splendid hiking along the McGuire Trail, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sespe Creek. It's been too much time since you went outside, you've gotta get out, and Reyes Campground, California is a great site for getting out. Hiking along the Deal Trail is wonderful fun, and Los Padres National Forest is a brilliant place to go. Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do are really bountiful here at Reyes Campground. The Ortega Trail offers hiking at its best, and Reyes Campground is right by the Piedra Blanca National Recreation Trail. So many local attractions and such a great variety of outdoors recreation will make you delighted you came. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Reyes Campground. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Highs through   the wintertime are typically in the 60's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Reyes Campground fall into the 40's. A campground like this is too splendid to miss. Good hiking is available along the Chorro Grande Trail, and Reyes Campground is not far at all from Oxnard-Thousand Oaks-Ventura. There's more to do next to Reyes Campground other than just hanging out such as hiking, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Be careful coming to the Sierra Madre, you might not ever want to return home again. Channel Islands National Park is a nice place near Reyes Campground; Carpinteria State Beach is worth checking out.
