a fine hiking adventure along the White Mountain Trail. California has lots of outdoors activities. Among the things you can do close to Redtail Canyon Campground are fishing, hiking, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so running out of exciting stuff to do won’t happen.
| This is a good area for people who like lakes. Castac Lake is a lake close at hand, and do take a hike on the Henderson Trail. Going to Fort Tejon State Park in the vicinity of Redtail Canyon Campground is a nice thing to do; why not take a refreshing hike along the Snowy Creek Trail. This is such a beautiful campground. There are some good whitewater spots on Piru Creek; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Sespe Creek. a kayak and hit Piru Creek, and Redtail Canyon Campground is not far at all from Lebec. This is such a nice campground. If the weather is lovely, you acquire a brilliant view of Mount Pines from Redtail Canyon Campground, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike
along the Alder Creek Trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Redtail Canyon Campground with overnight lows in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's; night lows through the winter for Redtail Canyon Campground tend to be in the
30's. Redtail Canyon Campground is incredibly well loved by the people from Lebec. This camp ground is one of the good places to camp here in the Sierra Madre. Redtail Canyon Campground is pretty arid frequently; of all the months in a year February is the one with the
most rain, and July is when it's the driest. All the pleasant local attractions in the neighborhood and such an incredible array of things to do will absolutely have you coming back repeatedly. A lot of people stay at this campground throughout their trip to Hungry Valley State Park.
