Rainbow Pool Campground gets a common amount of annual rainfall; the month with most of the rain is January; the driest month of the year is July. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Central Sierra Nevada. You can never get enough of the splendid skiing at Dodge Ridge; whitewater paddling is delightful on Clavey River. So much exciting stuff to do in the Central Sierra Nevada, not sufficient time. A trip to Stanislaus National Forest invigorates the spirit, and Tuolumne River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby.
