The wintertime comes with highs   in the 40's with temperatures at Potwisha Campground dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. There's more to do in close proximity to Potwisha Campground other than just hanging out such as fishing, whitewater paddling, swimming, and hiking, so you won’t run out of things to do. While you're here at Potwisha Campground you can take a hike along the High Sierra Trail; Deep Canyon is nearby, and is a delightful location. The Southern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. Potwisha Campground gets a typical amount of precipitation; January is the wettest month with most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture.
