The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Poppy Campground. It's completely out of the question to run out of enjoyable stuff to do in close proximity to Poppy Campground; spending time at this campground is extremely fun. People from Truckee-Grass Valley love to come to Poppy Campground; Donner Memorial State Park is a wonderful location to visit on a beautiful day.
