  Be careful coming to the Klamath Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. You'll meet a lot of folks from Clearlake here, and you can go for a hike on the Bonnie View Trail. California is a great outdoors state. This campground is so tremendous. If the weather is gorgeous, you acquire a perfect panorama of Coyote Rocks from Pogie Point Campground, and when you're here it's always fun to visit Clear Lake State Park.
At this campground you will always have a tremendous time. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Eel River, and there are nice places
    to discover along the Milk Ranch Trail. Salmon Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth stopping at, and if you come at the right time of year, Black Butte River offers some good whitewater.
Pogie Point Campground is a wet spot that gets a good deal of rain; the month with
most of the rain is January, and July on the other hand is the driest. The Klamath Mountains scenery is always wonderful.

Through the summer highs here at Pogie Point Campground get into the 90's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 50's; after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Pogie Point Campground drop into the 30's.

While you're here at Pogie Point Campground, you could also have a look at striking Lake Pillsbury; on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Crooked Tree Trail. A tour to Gravelly Valley revitalizes the spirit, and going for a hike on the Middle Creek Flat Trail is always a great adventure. There's such a large number of things to do at Pogie Point Campground including swimming, hiking, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
That right there is plenty of amusing things already but it goes on, the Klamath Mountains has it all. Pogie Point Campground is close to Mendocino National Forest which is a lovely location, and there is a fine hiking trail nearby called the Elk Knob Trail. All the great local attractions in the neighborhood and such a great variety of outdoors recreation are good incentives to come.
