Scores of folks choose Pioneer Campground so they can go to Plumas-Eureka State Park. Throughout the summertime at Pioneer Campground temperatures are commonly in the 90's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. During the winter the highs are usually in the 40's, and nighttime   lows at Pioneer Campground during the wintertime ordinarily dip into the 20's. The snow is brilliant at Royal Gorge. Pioneer Campground is a very popular campground with folks in Calpine. This campground is always a diversion. All year is a great time in the Northern Sierra Nevada if you go for the outdoors. Plumas-Eureka State Park is a gorgeous place any time of year, and lakes are such calm sites, why not check out Deadman Lake. If you go for the outdoors, you won’t be disappointed; there's hiking, fishing, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t get bored. Pioneer Campground gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain; July is the month with the least moisture.
