Pine Spring Campground, Sierra Madre, California   If you love the outdoors, you won’t be disenchanted; there's hiking, and whitewater paddling, so probably you want to stick around. If you come at the right time of year, Sespe Creek offers some nice whitewater, and you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Piedra Blanca National Recreation Trail. Channel Islands National Park is a brilliant place in the vicinity of Pine Spring Campground, and hiking along the Cedar Lake Trail is glorious fun. That right there is heaps already, but it carries on; Pine Spring Campground has it all. Lots of folks from Oxnard-Thousand Oaks-Ventura come to Pine Spring Campground, and going for a hike along the Middle Sespe Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Pine Spring Campground is a pleasant camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Sierra Madre. The good pick of local attractions, and the close by outdoors recreation will   positively have you coming back over and over. Be careful coming to the Sierra Madre, you might not ever want to go home again. Los Padres National Forest is a good location to stop by on a gorgeous day, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Rose Lion Trail. This is such a charming campground. There's such a large number of things to do near Pine Spring Campground, and to be at this campground is wonderful fun any time. Yeah, come up here to the Sierra Madre for a wonderful time. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Piru Creek, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Reed Reef Trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Pine Spring Campground. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 60's. Throughout the winter the highs are frequently in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Pine Spring Campground. Pine Spring Campground is commonly a relatively dehydrated place; the month of February is the wettest with most of the rain, and July on the other hand is the driest.
