Some of the things you can do here at Pine Spring Campground are fishing, swimming, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. This spot, the Sierra Madre, has so much outdoors entertaining things. Visiting Channel Islands National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Piru Creek. So much fun stuff close to Pine Spring Campground, just unbelievable.
If the weather is great here at Pine Spring Campground, you can go for a hike along the Reed Reef Trail, and Fort Tejon State Park is worth going to. Summer at Pine Spring Campground arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's.
The winter comes with highs in the 50's with temperatures at Pine Spring Campground dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. At this campground you will always have a glorious time. If you're dropping by Pine Spring Campground from Oxnard-Thousand Oaks-Ventura, you won't
be the only one; float down the rapids of Sespe Creek in a kayak. A beautiful lake like Lower Rose Lake near Pine Spring Campground is a great spot to take a look at, and the view of lovely San Guillermo Mountain is pleasant.
